Meet people,
not problems
Tudae is built for real connections — and feeling safe is part of the deal. Here's how we protect you, and how to protect yourself.
Before you meet
Take your time
Chat in the app for a while before moving anywhere else. Get to know someone first — nobody genuine will rush you to meet.
Do your research
Look your match up online before meeting. A blue tick means their photos passed our checks — a quick search of your own never hurts.
See a face first
Consider a quick video call — on whatever platform you both trust — before meeting in person. It confirms who they are and how they come across.
If something feels off, it probably is. It's always okay to end a conversation, cancel a date, or leave early — no explanation needed.
Meeting in person
Meet in public places
Busy restaurants, coffee shops or parks in daylight for the first few dates. Skip private or isolated spots until trust is earned over several meetings.
Tell a friend
Let someone you trust know where you're going, who you're meeting and when you'll be back.
Sort your own transport
Plan how you'll get there and home. Don't rely on a lift from someone you've just met — keep the freedom to leave whenever you want.
Stay sober and alert
Go easy on the drinks early on, never leave food or drinks unattended, and be wary of anyone pushing you to drink more than you'd like.
Keep your phone charged
Charge up before you head out and keep emergency contacts handy. Checking in with a friend mid-date is never a bad idea.
Have an exit plan
A friend calling at a set time, or a ready excuse. It's perfectly okay to end a date early — comfort beats politeness.
